Overview
To date, most of the applications of extrusions on this website have been structural applications around the vehicle: crash management bumper systems to subframes to cross car beams, to rockers, EV battery boxes and frame members. Strong, stiff, multi-hollow members integral to the body and chassis.
This section is quite different and intended to show the breadth of the application of extrusions in a vehicle. These components range from the tiny hollows the size of a pencil lead to thin wall heat sinks to precision tubes used in brakes and suspensions. Small in size, yet in the heating and cooling systems, these are large in material volume for fluid transfer and the requirements to manage heat from the engine or from the battery cells.
