Tesla's approach to cooling battery cells is via the micro-channel extrusions. Sometimes referred as lasagna noodles and this continuous strand weaves between the rows of cells. Fluid transfers within the channels to heat or cool the cells to maximize performance.

EV Cooling
The Tesla Model 3 cooling system has two paths to route the coolant ; one for battery cooling via the chiller, and the second route cools the electronics via the radiator.
