Aluminum Extruders Council Reaffirms Support for U.S. Trade Enforcement Efforts 

Wauconda, IL – June 2, 2025 – The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) supports the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the domestic aluminum supply chain and promote growth within the U.S. aluminum extrusion industry. 

Ensuring consistent application of the Section 232 program remains a key factor in supporting renewed investment and the return of demand to domestic producers. The AEC remains committed to working collaboratively with the administration to address challenges related to the rampant circumvention and evasion of trade measures, including misclassification and undervaluation of covered aluminum products and derivative articles.
