ET '27 Invitations Underway: Paper Submission Deadline, September 1, 2026
At ET ’27, selected authors will be invited by the ET Seminar Committee to submit their ET paper. If your abstract is selected, you will be notified of the decision starting in June 2026, and you will then be invited by the ET Seminar Committee to submit a technical paper based on the approved abstract. The deadline for invited paper submissions is September 1, 2026.
Please note, acceptance of an abstract with the ET Seminar Committee’s subsequent invitation to submit a manuscript does NOT guarantee that the submitted manuscript will be accepted for publishing in the ET ’27 Proceedings or for presentation at ET ’27 – such acceptance is at the sole discretion and with the approval of the ET Seminar Committee.
Specific guidelines for the preparation of manuscripts will be provided at the time of invitation. The ET Seminar Committee’s Track Teams will then review each of the invited papers. Only those papers that the Committee determines to have met ET’s criteria and standards will be accepted for publishing in the ET ’27 Proceedings. The ET Seminar Committee is comprised of aluminum extrusion industry professionals and academics who are actively involved in the extrusion industry and related scientific research.
Invited papers will be reviewed and considered by one of seven Track Teams, according to an abstract’s assigned track – BP: Alloys & Billet Process, EE: Extrusion Equipment, EP: Extrusion & Die Process Application, RD: Extrusion & Die R&D, SM: Sustainability & Management, FF: Extrusion Finishes & Fabrication, and EI: Extrusion Design & Innovation. Track Teams will review invited papers after September 1, 2026, and will notify authors if their paper has been approved for acceptance to ET ’27. The ET Foundation will copyright all published ET Proceedings material.
